Castaway Cay is Disney Cruise Lines private island in the Bahamas. Reported
to have cost $25 million dollars to develop, it boasts the best facilities of all
the cruise line owned private islands.
The island is fully owned by Disney which allows them to more easily develop the
facilities required. One example of this would be a pier, which eliminates the
need to tender passengers in from anchor.
